The romantic Pension "Zum Blümchen" was founded in 1990 as a small guest house, cafe, restaurant and beer bar under the name "Melone" and quickly enjoyed great popularity in Schwerin.
2000
In the beginning of 2000 the beer bar, the cafe and the restaurant were restructured and changed several times. In the middle of 2000 the cafe, the beer bar and the restaurant were separated from the pension and rented out separately.
2009
In 2009, for health reasons, the operators of the Melone guest house stopped operating after 20 years.
2011
In 2011 the property was bought by the current owner and, after extensive renovation and renovation work, it was resumed as a guest house under the name "Zum Blümchen".
The history of the house can be seen in the beautiful flowers that can be found everywhere.

2018
Since 2018 the guest house has had a shop and another single room in the front building.
The shop is not only available to boarders for breakfast. Schwerin residents and guests who do not spend the night in the house can also have breakfast there. There is also a small appetite.
A popular destination
.. the pension is a popular destination for domestic and foreign tourists. In a few minutes you can walk or cycle to the most beautiful sights of Schwerin such as the castle, zoo, theatre, museums, open-air theatre, Zippendorfer beach or the city centre with historical buildings, numerous cafes and much more.
In the warm season you can enjoy Schwerin's clean air on the summer terrace. Two bicycles are available for hire on request.
